Marlee

Just short of one year…Rosebud’s first Christmas…she is so settled and happy. 3 dogs, 4 cats, 10-yr and 13-yr old and all is good!!!! Houseful of rescue (except for our great kids!)

Rosie

Rosie came to live with us four years ago. She is 9 years old now. She is the perfect addition to our family and we can not imagine life without her. She is so loving and can’t wait to get her belly scratched when she is not lounging in the sun. Thank you Tri State!

Dana Godfrey

Henry

What a wonderful breed. He is soooo loving. He loves our other adopted dog. They play and bite each other-so funny. Oh, then there is an adopted cat. He loves the cat but she puts him in his place. He had a few hisses and a few swats!! But they both sleep on the couch all day-couch potatoes. He is still a bit scared but so much better. He only barks at my husband!! We are so happy to have this beautiful and loving puppy! Wish i could have more!! Thanks for recommending him to us. We love him more and more every day!

Fred & Daisy

We adopted Daisy and Fred this past summer 2014. They have been FANTASTIC dogs. Daisy who was 11 at the time is a bit arthritic but doing well. Fred who is aprox 7-8 is spunky and we couldn’t be happier we decided to fail at fostering him. He is great. This past November we took a vacation and boarded our new family members at a local rescue that does boarding for extra money. Not long after they contacted us to see if we would be interested in a stray basset they picked up that was unclaimed. after a potential third fell through when the family decided to keep Henri, a seniorr we were going to take in, we took Miss Lulu in and now are a family of 3 bassets. I could not ask for better dogs. They get along like they have always been together. They love the attention the children give them. They each have great personalities. We just love them.

Riley

In the year prior to adopting Riley, we lost both our girls – a bloodhound and a cat. Needless to say, there was a hole in our hearts that needed filled – enter Riley! Riley has been everything we could have hoped for and more. She is a loving, sweet, playful, and ORNERY little girl. She loves doing whatever we are doing (and maybe a snack too) and is just happy and content to be with us always…the feeling is mutual. We are so grateful to Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue for giving us the opportunity to add Riley into our (now) complete family!

Rupert

Tucker (formerly Rupert) is a wonderful addition to our family! He is so gentle! Loves to play with toys and cuddle. He is a couch potato! Always belly-up in case someone wants to give a chest rub.
Millie, our 4-year-old basset, loves her new friend.

Carol & Gretchen Ritter

Spud

Thank you for bringing Arnie (formerly Spud) into our lives. He is a sweet, gentle boy and we just love him. It takes some patience and understanding but the reward is a new best friend!

Scotty

Scotty is doing wonderful. He is an amazing dog and a great addition to our family. Scotty loves to cuddle up on the couch with us. He loves his sister Lola and they are inseparable. He truly has made our family complete.
