Planned Gift

Make a Planned Gift to TSBHR

A planned gift enables donors to secure their own legacy while nonprofits secure the future of the rescue organization. It is a lasting investment in the future of the rescue, by making a difference in the lives of homeless hounds. A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date. Commonly donated through a will, trust, life insurance or retirement savings plan, planned gifts are usually transferred to the organization once an individual has passed away.

Planned gifts can be:

  • Gift of Cash. …
  • Gift of Stock. …
  • Gift of Life Insurance. …
  • Gifts of Retirement Assets. …
  • A Gift through Your Estate Plan. …
  • Charitable Remainder Trust. …
  • Charitable Lead Trust. …

A Planned gift can be as simple as a bequest in your will or naming Tri State as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts, insurance policies, or other financial accounts.

Consult your attorney, financial adviser, or plan administrator for more information and the appropriate designation forms to include Tri State in your planned giving.

These charitable giving options may also achieve income and/or estate tax savings for you.
