Abby & Louis

Abby and Lou are doing great. They went to the vet the first week here. The second week, Lou had his cysts removed and has completely recovered. (mostly from the embarrassment of the cone of shame). They are the sweetest kids. We love them tremendously. They love to go for walks around the farm and chase the deer. Then curl up on the couch for a nap. We are so very happy that we found Tri state and could adopt these very special babies.

Thank you again

Cindy and Larry

When Marabelle (formerly Hazel) is not attached to her mom’s hip, she is following around and annoying her new best friend Gabby. She is really great and a snuggle bug for sure.

I lost my stoshu my Bassett in jan 2014 and thought I could never open my heart again till Daisy May (Formerly Kahlea) came into my home and heart thank u

Albert was officially adopted by us on my birthday, August 31st, 2018. He is a little wild, and a little crazy…but he is really a sweet & snuggly guy. He has adapted very well to his new home and especially to his new brother Walter (formerly Red, also adopted through TSBHR in 2013). I am so grateful to all of you at TSBHR for bringing him into our lives!

Ralph sprints when he runs! He is very active and so excitable, He loves his runs around the beach and parks and listens very well – he’s great! Ralphie was so sad and had health issues when we got him, but he’s great now – one of the family! Here’s a picture of him with his cousin, Lucy.

Cayce (formerly Mickey) is so lovable, easy-going and affectionate. Everyone he meets just loves him and tells us how we “Lucked out” by finding him. He is a loving and happy spirit that has given us so much joy, especially my son who so missed our girl basset who died last August. Thank you to everyone who helped us find this easy-going, devoted and affectionate angel to come share our home.

Our Claire loves to be petted, going for walks and playing with her toys. We just love her and think she is so cute!

Gomer loves to play with our other basset, Jake – they will howl together like they are singing, he loves to chase his own tail and loves our cats he sleeps with them. We walk and play catch with him, we also like to watch him chase Jake around the house with a hedge hog squeaky toy, it is so funny. Gomer is is a very good boy he is very lovable.

Dolly is a real doll. Everyone that has met her just adores her! We love to snuggle with her.

Dolly is very quiet—the few times she has barked, it’s been dainty, lady-like barks. She likes walks, trying to chase bunnies, her nylon bone, giving kisses, getting belly rubs and snuggling on the couch. She very athletic. Dolly will sit and give her paw for a treat. She has such a funny personality!

Nugget has been with us about 7 months now. It took her a little time to adjust to family life in the north, but she has settled in nicely. She loves walks in the neighborhood, car rides and her older hound sister Brooklyn, also a Tri-State girl! Nugget is hoping to participate in her first board waddle next spring.
