We just adopted Duke December 30th 2016. TSBHR was very helpful in finding us a great match with our requests. We have an English Bulldog and really wanted to find him a friend with similar disposition as him. Well so far TSBHR has exceeded our expectations. While Duke is a little more active than our Bulldog (didn’t take much) he is very very friendly. Duke is also very intelligent and is adjusting well in his new home very quickly. A great dog and perfect fit for our family. We cant thank TSBHR enough for all they have done.
Happy Tails
Hi! , We just wanted to let you know how great Flash has been. We adopted him alittle over 3 years ago and we couldn’t imagine life without him. He is our super dude, full of energy, loves cuddles and takes up the whole bed ;o). I’m e-mailing pictures as well. Thank you so much for bringing Flash into our lives. , -Liz and George
Even though Walter (originally known as Red) spent the 1st 1.5 years in a kennel, he has learned to be a complete & total snugglebug. It was rough going the 1st few days, but little by little he has learned his place in our hearts. He sleeps in the bed always needing to be cuddled up next to us or his brother Baxter. I am so grateful to the people at Tristate that brought this little guy into our lives!
Leo (previously known as Lee) fit right in our family circle, myself, judy and our other basset lilly. He loves spending his summers in the poconos with us. His heartworm is gone and he is the picture of health! We can’t thank TSBHR enough, God bless you all!! John Kresch sr
Penny Lane (previously Penelope) is such a sweet girl. She was very nervous and worried when she first came to us but once she learned she could trust us she fit right in. The smallest Basset we’ve ever had, but she’s put on a few pounds since her arrival! Truth be told Mommy’s her favorite, but she’s Mommy’s favorite too!!
Bella is so sweet. She loves her new home and we love her. We have had her since October and she adjusted very well. Thank you Tristate Bassett Hound everyone was wonderful!
We adopted Roberta (originally Birdie) in April of 2015 from her foster mom. She is a wonderful addition to our family. She loves going on long walks and meeting new dogs in the neighborhood. Her family spoils her(in a good way!) and she gives them plenty of love in return. She may make an appearance at the board waddle this year!
We want to thanks tristate Bassett hound rescue for brining us Ginger. She is a wonderful sweet dog, who fits in perfectly with our family. I also want to thank Kathy, Lisa and Steven for making this adoption possible. Once again thank you for the wonderful services that you provide.
What a beautiful boy you have sent us! He is such a treasure! He seems to be happy in his new home, and he makes us happy!!! Thank you Tri-State for giving us & him , this opportunity!!!!
We adopted Cooper (AKA Copper) May 2017. What a superb dog! He is such a wonderful addition to our family. He’s smart, goofy, lovable, cuddly and just perfect. I take him for a 1.75 mile walk every day and he’s still full of energy when we get back. He’s still a puppy at 1 year old and even though he tries to behave, the puppy still comes out and he goes bonkers. It’s bringing back memories of having young hounds in the house (we lost both of our almost 14 year old hounds last year). He is a breath of fresh air and such an awesome hound. He’s a huge hit in our neighborhood and has met LOADS of new doggie friends! Thank you Tri-State for matching us up with such a wonderful pup and a huge thanks to his foster family Rob and Fran for all your help! We are planning on meeting everyone at the Waddle next year!
