Rosalita

We adopted our beautiful Rosalita from Tri-state back in 2010. She has loved us and we have loved her for 16 years. As a young puppy she was entered into the Basset Olympics and she had won many awards. When she went to her last Basset parade, she was able to ride on the senior float. She loved going on walks in the park, camping with us in many states and even riding in her coach that we bought so that she could get up to the Lighthouse at Elk Neck State Park. She loved being in water, no matter if it was a stream, a pond or an ocean, and as she got older and less active, she loved laying at the water’s edge. She was a great big sister to our Bella, who also came from Tri-State. In recent years, she was accepting to our young skittish rescue, Delilah. She never ever was aggressive towards any person or animal. She just was so easy going and laid back all of her life. Sadly, she passed away a few weeks back, but it was in the park that she loved walking and sniffing in. No other dog could ever replace her and we will miss her dearly.
