Yard Pong for Long Dogs

NEW Fundraiser Event featuring a YARD PONG TOURNAMENT!

THANK YOU for your interest in the YARD PONG for LONG DOGS fundraiser! Yard Pong is an oversized version of the classic game, beer pong, using five-gallon buckets of water and mini-playground balls. The tournament is double-elimination. Registration is $50 per team, which includes a ‘swag’ bag per player, cash prizes and medals for the top teams. All skill levels are welcome!

Tournament Details:

• The entry fee to participate is $50 per team (plus service fees from Eventbrite; total is $55.20). With this fee, you get entrance in the double-elimination tournament, a ‘swag’ bag for each participant, opportunity to win cash prizes and medals if you are the top teams. This is a tax-deductible donation to Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, Inc.

• Availability for 32 teams to compete. There are 2 players per team. This is a double-elimination tournament.
• Check-in is from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. Game overview, team introductions and games start at 1:00 p.m. Note: Teams not registered in time will forfeit their first game.
• Cash prizes for top 2 teams. Amounts dependent on how many teams participate.
• CONTESTS for the BEST TEAM NAME and BEST TEAM UNIFORM or COSTUME…prizes for the winners!

• This event is RAIN or SHINE.
• Free admission if you are not competing in the tournament…come watch and cheer on the teams!
• Free parking along Stanbridge Street
• This event is DOG FRIENDLY! Note: Dogs must be up-to-date on shots, friendly with people and other dogs and leashed at all times.

• Check-in is from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. Teams not registered in time will forfeit their first game.

How long will the tournament last?

• Based on average playing time, we anticipate the tournament lasting about three to four hours total. Your individual playing time depends on your performance (e.g., if you lose 2 games you’re out, but if you are winning, then you stay in).
